  2. Slide 1. What is the role of the excretory system in the human body: Slide 2. what are the major organs: Slide3: how do theses organs worh together: Table of Contents

  3. What is the roleof the Excretorysystem in the human body? The role of the excretory system is that it filters the blood, which removes the waste and begins to produce the urine. The ureters, bladder and urethra forms into the Urinary tract which is what removes the urine from the body during the phase of urination. Picture in next slide!

  4. The major organs in the excretory system are two ureters, and one urinary bladder. The most important organ is the kidneys The kidney is a bean like shape which holds the urine (400 millimeters) the ureters What are the major organs that make up your system?

  5. Doctor: Because they usually work with the excretory system, like kidney transplant or kidney cancer or diseases they need to cure. Scientist: They discover more and more things about the excretory system, such as new diseases or a cure for the cancer of the kidneys. If a person were to work in this profession what would they do?

  6. Tissue What are the levels of organization for humans? (Excretory system) Cells that make up for the Renal Pyramids (Tissue)

  7. How do these organs work together? The kidneys job is to filter all of the blood that passes through them and pull all of the waste and extra water out of the blood. Then put the blood and some water back in to the circulatory system, which circulates the blood all throughout the body. Picture in next slide!

  8. After that all of the wastes go to be stored in the bladder to later exit the body through the urine.

  9. One system the Excretory system is connected to is the circulatory system. It connects to this system because it circulates blood through the kidneys. • The second system the excretory system is the endocrine system. What are two other systems that connect to the excretory system?

  10. Kidney stones: Kidneys begin to turn into hard kidneys and will begin a huge pain • Kidney cancer: creates a plagueish type of cells Name 2 common diseases or disorders that directly affect your system

  11. Here are four ways you can keep your excretory system healthy. • 1.Water: Water helps by flushing your body out, which removes all of toxins and carries them out through your urine. It also helps your excretory system function better. • 2.Exercise: Exercise is important because it makes you sweat, sweat is one of the ways your body excretes toxins. • 3.Eating Healthy: Eating healthy is important needs a plentiful supply of vitamins, minerals and energy to keep the kidney function going. • 4.Avoid Toxins: Avoiding toxins is important because the more toxins your body takes in the more your excretory system has to work over time to get them out. How can you maintain a healthy system?

  12. Here are 5 facts on the excretory system. • 95% of urine is made up of water. • 2. You can still survive with only one of your kidneys. • 3. Your bladder can hold up to one liter of urine but you have the urge to use the bathroom after there is just 300 milliliters in it. • 4.The average persons intestine is around 27 feet long. • 5. The most common symptom of kidney cancer is blood in the urine. Facts
