  • Study the reaction mechanisms in the interval of intermediate energies, especially close to the Fermi energy (≈ 38 MeV).
  • Investigation of the particle stability limits
  • Study of the properties of unstable nuclei near the drip-lines
  • Producton of secondary beams of neutron-rich nuclei with 2 ≤ Z ≤ 12

  • Reaction products formed in fragmentation reaction give contribution tothetotal yield.
  • Simulation with assumption only one reaction mechanism (projectilefragmentation) cannot describe experimental data.
  • A more sophisticated reaction model needed.
