  1. DO'S AND DON'TS AFTER A TOOTH EXTRACTION

  2. REST Try to get some rest after tooth extraction. Keep your head in a slightly upright position on the pillow while sleeping.

  3. USE ICE PACKS After the treatment swelling and pain may occur. In those cases, use an ice pack to stop and reduce swelling.

  4. DON'T EAT Avoid eating, drinking, and talking immediately after surgery. After sometime eat liquid items like ice cream or cold milk.

  5. AVOID SMOKING Once the extraction is done, stop smoking for few days because it can weaken the blood and cause dry sockets to form around.

  6. DON'T TAKE ASPIRIN Don’t take painkillers, especially aspirin after the treatment, because it can delay blot clot formation around the extraction site.
