A hydraulic tappet, also known as a hydraulic valve lifters or hydraulic lash adjuster, is a device for maintaining zero valve clearance in an internal combustion. a valve lifter transfers the motions of the cam lobe to the pushrod or rocker to open and close the valve.

  1. Rocker locks are a spring clip designed to hold the rocker arms in place on the Dodge Ram, Durango, Dakota & Jeep 4.7 V8 and the 3.7 V6, to alleviate the problem of falling rockers. This is a non moving part it just sits on the rocker arm & moves with it & holds the rocker arm in place.

  2. Rocker arms falling off Pull the rocker arms falling off, and flip it over. Make sure the little ears that sit on either side of the valve tip aren't damaged. Opened it back up and only 1 rocker arm were off this time.

  3. Lash adjusters If you know the old-school term 'valve lifters', lash adjusters are the same thing. Rockerlocks’ hydraulic lash adjusters are specifically designed to automatically adjust lash in commercial vehicle engines with various types valve trains.
