  2. Summary • Arizona prisoner, Joseph Dekenipp, escaped Pinal County Adult Detention center to spend Valentine’s Day with his girlfriend. Dekenipp managed to crawl past razor wire, scale two fences, and then head to a bar 10 miles away. After seeing that Dekenipp was missing, deputies used K-9s to track him, but the dogs eventually lost his scent. The deputies then searched cars and asked if others had seen him.

  3. Summary Cont. • Three hours later, thanks to a group of teens who told deputies that they had given the prisoner a lift to the bar, the officers found Dekenipp and sent him back to jail.
