Agriculture Defined • Agriscienceis the application of scientific principles and new technologies to agriculture. • Agricultureis defined as the activities concerned with the production of plantsand animals, and related supplies, services, mechanics, products, processing and marketing. • Agribusinessrefers to commercial firms that have developed with or stemmed out of agriculture.

Agriculture Defined • Aquaculturemeans the growing and management of living thing in water, such as fish. • Agricultural engineeringmeans the application of mechanical and other engineering principles in agricultural settings. • Agriculture science technologyrefers to the use of modern principles and practices for animal growth and management. • Crop Sciencerefers to use of modern principles in growing and managing crops.
