  3. What does painkillers look like? • A “lollipop” • Comes in orange container • Labe with how to use • Arranges from 20’ to 160’ • Round to oval • Different colors but mostly white • Number usually carved in

  4. How do you use painkillers? • Eat it as it is (pill) • Eat as a “lollipop” • Grinded it up as sniff it • Grinded and mix with water, needle

  5. How do you get painkillers? • Rob it • Fake a doctor note • Doctor assign it • Buy it off of someone • Can find when dealing drugs • Buy it of the shelf

  6. Symptomsforpainkillers: Long term use: Restlessness Muscle & Bone pain Vomit Cold Flashes w/ goose bumps

  7. Symptoms for painkillers: • If usage increases: Personality changes Withdrawal from family Most time spend visit doctors Change in sleep and eat habits Cough Running nose Red glazed eyes

  8. Symptoms for painkillers: Short term use: Sleepy (some) Can last for around 1-24 hours (depend the level of pill you take)

  9. High doses cause breathing slow down until stops completely. Death

  10. What are the effects? • Addictive level:

  11. Explanations:(the chart above) • Youth: Never really experience serious injures, don’t get addictive to painkillers • Teen: Usually get serious injured, lots of addictive people started at teen age • Adult: Rarely get serious injures, still a number of adults get addicted to painkillers

  12. Why do you get addicted to painkillers? People get addicted to painkillers because they had serious injures or accidents that may scar their brain in to thinking that with out the painkillers they would be in a lot of pain. Even after they have fully recovered their brain is still thinking it will be pain if you stop taking painkillers. If you do stop taking it, after a while you will feel uncomfortable and shooting pain. But in reality it was just your brain thinking it, its not real. The more you take the more you get addicted. The more you think you need it.
