  2. Cinder is a science fiction, young adult novel that is the first of five books in The Lunar Chronicles.

  3. So far, there are 3 books in the series, each its own futuristic fairy tale retelling with Cinder being its own unique, stand out retelling of the classic fairy tale Cinderella.

  4. Oh, and here's the best part: Cinder, a mechanic with a mysterious past, is a CYBORG in the FUTURE where not only is a DEADLY PLAGUE ravaging the planet but the not-so-human race known as LUNARS (I like to call them “Moon People” by the way) are also planning all out GLOBAL DOMINATION (they're REALLY NASTY beings for the most part- read the book and see for yourself) of Earth in which case Cinder- who, in case you haven't guessed already, is the main character- may be the only chance of stopping them.

  5. Also, Cinder MAY or MAY NOT be totally falling in love with the handsome Prince Kai while at it.

  6. If you're into sci-fi then THIS is DEFINTITELY the book for you! If you're also into action, adventure books with a little mystery and romance mixed in, then THIS is DEFINITELY DEFINITELY the book for you! (OK- I'm know I'm probably getting a little redundant here so I'll try to stop telling you how AWESOME this book REALLY is:)

  7. Cinder probably won't end up being the fairy tale that you remember reading and/or hearing, but this will FOR SURE be the one that you'll never forget .... unless you end up hating it, which I REALLY hope you don't! (Or even think you will!) :D I'd recommend Cinder to anyone looking to curl up with a good story in hand!
