Requirements… Start-up Capital Minimum, but not limited to, $50,000 liquid capital assets required for start-up investment that can provide present income and potential economic value in your business. Actual capital requirements may vary depending on individual business plan. Branded Office Location Must be willing to adhere to the companies’ established Customer Service and Brand Standards. Licensing Must have licenses in Property, Casualty, Life & Health insurance. Background Check Satisfactory results of background using consumer reports & criminal background check. Business Plan/Cash Flow Develop a 5-year business plan for review. Hire staff Must have licensed staff, trained and ready, prior to opening.

Agent Application/Background Check - This is the first step in following your dream to becoming an Agency Owner. Cash Flow ‐ We will work together to create a 5 year financial projection for your new agency to determine marketing and operational needs, as well as capital requirements. Business/Marketing Plan - Every business must start with a strong foundation. The Business/ Marketing Plan will help you in developing the business strategies to propel you into future success. We will also work together to determine an office location and staffing needs. Senior Leadership Discussion ‐ This is where you get a chance to meet with Meemic Senior Leaders for final approval and is your opportunity to ask questions with Meemic decision makers.
