  6. What is your approach • Bioinformatics Textbook from Prof. Khuri’s class: pretty useful overview • Plenty of resources for Human Genome Project • Pour through research papers for Needleman-Wunsch and for current research – access issue might need to be addressed

  7. What will be your final product? • Report containing the following: • Brief overview of history of bioinformatics • Description of some of the algorithms commonly used • Walkthrough of some of the tools available to for public use • Brief overview of some of the more interesting research in Bioinformatics right now
