  3. Brief History • 1996～ • IPv6 testbed network was built in KDDI Labs. • 1999～ • Connected to 6bone-JP • Aug., 2000 • KDDI (HQ) was allocatedan sTLA space from APNIC (2001:268::/35) • Oct., 2000 • Started IPv6 trial for DION(KDDI ISP Service) customers KDDI Corporation

KDDI IPv6 Trial • IPv6 over IPv4 tunnel • For all DION customers who are assigned global IPv4 addresses • /48 for site customers, /43 for ISPs • No charge (no guarantee) • Customer profiles: • End users • Application software developers • System Integrators • ISPs (such as CATV-Internet service provider) etc. KDDI Corporation
