What is at Risk? • In their first year of driving, 1 in 5, 16 year olds has an accident • Two thirds of teen passenger deaths are in vehicles driven by other teenagers • The odds of a teen being involved in a crash double with each passenger added to a vehicle • Over 5,100 teenagers died in car crashes in 2006
