  2. Aim Goal of each group : develop three to four recommendations for a regional approach on combating counterfeit medical products

  3. Considerations before starting.. Before all, please consider the following angles for discussion within your group: - Legislative principles - Technology / Lab/ Forensic examination - Raising awareness/ communication - Enforcement capacity - Regulatory implementation • Exchange of information / diffusion of alerts • National and international cooperation

  4. Proposed questions to help your discussion: • What are the major barriers to combat counterfeit medicines in your country and in the region? • What is needed for efficient cooperation amongst the agencies within your country? • What is the role of the private sector? • How do you see the role of IMPACT in your national and regional efforts?

  5. How would you build bridges between forensic, health and enforcement? • What are your country and regional needs for analytical tool or kits for rapid testing of suspected products? • Is internet a challenge for your region?
