  1. Prithvi Shaw Opens Up On His Record In IPL 2021 Talented India opener Prithvi Shaw was in sublime form in the 2021 edition of the IPL and his opening partnership with Shikhar Dhawan was one of the positives for the Delhi Capitals as well. They helped the team with great partnerships just before some players and staff tested positive for Covid-19 inside the bio-bubble. Meanwhile, Shaw made a record in the game against the Kolkata Knight Riders when he smashed Shivam Mavi for six fours in an over. However, it was Dhawan who indirectly responsible for this record as well. It was 25th match of the IPL between Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders in Ahmedabad where Shaw and Dhawan came out to bat to chase 155. So, I was counting that ball as well and it had slipped my mind. So, Shikhar Dhawan told me one more ball is left,” said Shaw. It was Shikhar Dhawan who reminded him about the extra ball as the first one was wide and then Shaw decided to go for another four to make the record. “Then it clicked me. I had not thought anything while hitting the first five boundaries. But I was definitely thinking about that before hitting the sixth boundary, that I have come close after hitting five boundaries in five balls and should try one more,” revealed Shaw.

Meanwhile, he had guessed where the bowler would bowl and he was prepared for that as well.
