  1. Deep Dasgupta explains how T20 World Cup after IPL 2021 can affect India Ever since the news of India and Pakistan being placed in the same group in the T20 World Cup came, fans got excited as well. While many experts have shared their views on it, former India cricketer Deep Dasgupta spoke on how playing the T20 World Cup directly after the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 could affect the Indian team as well. The other important thing is India would be going straight from IPL," Deep Dasgupta said in an interview with Sportskeeda. "However, playing at the same venues, that’s an advantage, but that can also be a disadvantage because you are not playing as a team in the IPL, you are playing against each other. End of the day, it’s a team sport and you need to gel as a team. After IPL, that’s your first assignment as a team," he further added. He again revealed that continuous matches can cause burnout or fatigue as they have been featuring in game constantly. One team is in England right now which will play a five-match Test series next month whereas another team have been playing against Sri Lanka now and from there, they’ll go to IPL, from IPL to T20 World Cup and this might hamper their success too.
