Cricket News - Ajay Jadeja Backs The Decision Of SRH Making Kane Williamson Captain SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) made a shocking decision mid-way into the tournament as they replaced their regular skipper David Warner with New Zealand’s Kane Williamson. The franchise has had a poor start to their campaign in 2021 where they lost five matches of their first six games and staying at the bottom of the table. Meanwhile, the Australian himself has been going through poor form as he has a strike rate of just 110.28 in the competition as well. However, former India cricketer, Ajay Jadeja, while speaking to Cricbuzz, stated that it seemed that the control of the team is in the hands of someone else and not with the captain as well. He himself stated that the selection of the final XI is not done by him so he does not have a complete say in it,” stated Jadeja.

  2. However, Ajay Jadeja further added that the decision to remove David Warner from captaincy and replace him with Kane Williamson was a wise call as it will benefit the team in the long run. He also said that Williamson was the right choice for the captain and he has also led the team before in Warner’s absence.
