Recently, under his leadership, India had lost the inaugural World Test Championship (WTC) final to New Zealand too. Image source by twitter And, former Pakistan captain Salman Butt has pointed out things that are lacking in Kohli’s captaincy, and added that he wants Kohli to learn from Kane Williamson, the New Zealand skipper. Meanwhile, Team India are currently in England as they will take on England in a five-match Test series in August as well. “You can be a very good captain but if you don’t win any title, masses won’t remember you. May be you are a good captain and have good plans but your bowler may not be able to execute it. So luck has to be on your side as well. People only remember those who win tournaments," Butt said on his YouTube channel. He continued: “Sometimes you may not be a great captain but your team may be very good and you may end up winning a major title. So that does not define a captain but for the world, of course, a good captain is one who has won big events." He again shared that Kohli can learn the captaincy seeing how Kane Williamson does it for his side. He again added that Kohli is a top-class cricketer and also has excellent body language and is aggressive too but he believes that captains should be subtle and not fiery on the field as well.
