Movie Ticket Booking Procedure - BookMyShow

1. How to Book Movie Tickets Online on BookMyShow A step-by-step guide to get you started on India’s Largest Entertainment Ticketing Portal

2. Step 1 • When you are on the home page of BookMyShow, you can select your city from the top right. • It will display the 10 most popular cities first. However, if you do not see your location, don’t worry! Simply type in the name in the search bar and you’re good to go. • After this you have 3 options to discover your movie.

3. Step 2 Option 1 • You can simply scroll down the home page and click on the “Book Now” button on one of the featured movies.

4. Step 2 Option 2 • If you have a specific movie in mind, you can search for it by name in the search bar. • Once you have identified the movie, you can hit Enter or select a timing for it.

5. 1 2 3 • Step 2 Option 3 • You can select the “Movies” tab along the top of the page and will then land here. • You can filter the results by making selections on the left. These include language, genre and format (2D, 3D, etc.). • In the center, you will see a list of movies to select from. Simply click the “Book Now” button on the movie of your choice.

Step 3 • Once you have clicked the “Book Now” button or selected from the search bar, you will see this screen. • It includes a date selector in the top left and filters for format, region, price range and show timings on the top right. • The main section of the screen will give you a list of cinemas and the show times in those cinemas for your movie.

7. Step 4 • Once you have selected your show time in the cinema of your choice, you get to select the number of tickets that you need.

8. Step 5 • After selecting the number, you can choose your seating based on availability. The grey seats are already booked, the hollow green ones are available, and the solid green ones are those that you have selected. Once you select, you can click “Proceed” in the top right. • Along the top of the page you will see a summary of your selections of Movie, Theatre, Number of Tickets and Show Time, with options to change them.

9. Step 6 • Once you have confirmed your choices, this screen gives you a detailed Booking Summary on the right hand side. • Be sure to select your Ticket Type at the bottom of the summary! • The M-Ticket option will send a ticket to your phone number and email, or you can select the Box Office Pickup option if you prefer physical tickets.

10. Step 7 • If you select M-Ticket, you will be prompted to enter your email address and phone number. • Below, you can select your preferred payment option and make the payment for the amount mentioned on the right side in your Order Summary. • Now you can go ahead and Enjoy the Show!
