46. International Assessment & Certification Awarding Body LAPT’S ACCREDITATION PROCESS Step 1: The Franchise signs the LAPT authorised partner agreement. Step 2: A person authorised by LAPT, visits the centre for inspection of the centre premises, facilities and staff. If these are found satisfactory, then accreditation is granted and the validation process is finished. The centre is then granted LAPT authorised centre status and the partnership agreement is fully in force. Step 3: If the inspection process of Step 2 is not satisfactory, the authorised centre will be given a report as to what is not satisfactory and will be given time to rectify the deficiencies. Another inspection will ensue.

Attendance sheets (2) in which the date of attendance and the student’s signature must be entered on each occasion. A declaration by the student that he or she has attended and completed the course. A student feedback form (4 pages) for the student to give his or her views on the different aspects of the course.
