  3. Scholarship • At Kappa Delta we value every member’s education. We offer many opportunities for our members to reach their academic goals. For example; mentor programs, awards for studying and academic accomplishments, and prizes for grades. You come to college to get an education, and Kappa Delta works hard on motivating, supporting, and assisting you in your college education and goals. Kappa Delta GPA: 3.305

  4. Sisterhood Kappa Delta strives on sisterhood. Our sisterhood chairs are consistently throwing amazing sisterhood activities. A few favorites from this past year: ice cream gutter races, movie night for “Lucky One”, and karaoke night. Everyone has their own reasons for joining a sorority, but you stay in it because of the people. At Kappa Delta we strive to have the strongest sisterhood possible to make your 4 years in Kappa Delta truly unbelievable.   5. Philanthropy • Kappa Delta has the longest running philanthropy on campus. Each year we hold 2 philanthropies supporting Prevent Child Abuse America nationally and Cedars locally. We also support the Girl Scouts by holding events with the local troops.

  6. Involvement • Kappa Delta gives you the opportunity to get involved not only within Kappa Delta itself, but also within the University and the Community. Kappa Delta offers many leadership positions for members to get involved and make a difference within Kappa Delta. Our members are involved with many different university organizations, and we guide our new members into finding organizations they are interested in joining. We are also involved within the community working with the girl scouts and other non-profit organizations. Whatever your interested in getting involved in while in college, Kappa Delta will guide you along the entire way.

Organizations Kappa Deltas are involved with: Big Red Singers Husker Athletics Club Tennis Club Volleyball ASUN student government Greeks Promoting Positive Attitudes Pre-Nursing Club Business Fraternities Honor Societies Relay for life Girl Scout Troop Leaders Campus Nightlife AND MANY MORE!!!! Involvement Kappa Deltas’ raising money to support Relay For Life

  8. Social Involvement • Kappa Delta strives to be well-rounded. We focus on academics, philanthropy, involvement, sisterhood, and social involvement. We hold 2 formals each year, as well as a Valentines Day and Halloween dance.
