What is E-learning? • eLearning typically involves the use of the internet to • access learning materials; • interact with the content, instructor, and other learners; • obtain support during the learning process • Allows participants to acquire knowledge, to construct personal meaning, and to grow from the learning experience. • One form of distance learning, a type of educational situation in which the instructor and students are separated by time, location, or both.

  13. Self learning It has a SCORM Course player which tracks the learning progression of the Users. Course player will also allow to bookmark the course section for reference purposes. Course player is capable of handling tests at each node level in the SCORM course package. There can be Pre and Post Test tagged to each Course.

  16. Classroom Training Training Management module allows for planning, implementing and reporting training programmes for the calendar year. It can create training programmes, intimate users to enroll, track attendance, take feedback and archive a training programme. It will also enable collaboration around each Program activity It allows to use digital assets such as Course, Test and Supplementary resources as additional learning content.

  19. Online Assessments Assessment which Supports 5 question types. It has a local repository for storing assets which can be used to create questions. It supports Test creation which includes random and selective based question presentation. Ability to import/export questions from word templates. It supports user defined grade schemes, Negative marking and Feedbacks

It also supports a document review workflow which helps in moderating the documents uploaded by authors and publish the same for the CSIR Lab users
