ECho is the “Enhanced Consumer Web Hosting” environment, which is: A service by IBS, supported by Web Operation and Commercial Application Support Home to 100+ consumer web sites and 300+ web applications A managed private cloud solution, currently at Rackspace Secured by Cisco firewalls using industry standard network best practices Load balanced web farms that can grow to meet demand Completely isolated TEST and PRODUCTION environments for stability Supports n-Tier deployment with separate UI, data and application servers Change management system that meet SOX and A-B policy requirements Servers are hardened to AB standards and on a weekly patch schedule Host IDS protects against ~1,000 hack attempts per hour Monitored 24/7 for health, availability and performance Anheuser-Bush has standards and guidelines for web development that cover web UI design, SEO, analytics, testing, database design and application development to insure quality products

Unlike open source servers and frameworks we have 24/7 Microsoft support for server OS, database and framework technologies Microsoft makes all the basic development tools, technologies and learning labs available to developers free of charge and license restrictions. Barrier to entry is very low. There is a large, world wide .NET developer base, allowing for a commodity type development and support model Operational cost is funded by IBS OPEX THERE IS NO ADDITIONAL COST TO COMMERCIAL

ECHo Environment – Part 2 Social Media Application Support Standard SSL hosting for Facebook, Twitter and mobile applications Secured outbound access to external web services prevents spoofing Standard Web Application Platform Premiere Support available 24/7 from Microsoft for all standard technologies Windows 2003 R2 Server/IIS 6.0 Microsoft ASP.NET v3.5 Framework (includes LinQ, WC and MVC) SQL Server 2005 SP2 in high availability clusters Three Step Change Management with Site Manager Site Manager is the Anheuser-Busch change management system for ECHo Developers upload files to the environment via Secure FTP any time Developers may deploy files to QA/QC/TEST. Files copy immediately. Developers request Production deployment, triggering an approval workflow. Files copy to PROD immediately upon approval by the Release Manager Key Site Manager Role Definitions (roles are mutually exclusive)Developer: Makes Web Site Changes and requests deployment Release Manager: Approves Production deployment requests

ECHo – Support ECHo includes support from three groups Cloud Provider (currently Rackspace) Rackspace monitors the total health of our systems 24x7x365 Rackspace is our first line of defense and immediately escalates issues to IBS Information & Business Services 3-Tier Support Model The IBS Infrastructure Operations Center (IOC) is an onsite 24x7x365 operation. Web Operations receives escalations from the IOC and Rackspace and ensures that all issues are tracked and resolved in a timely manner. 3rd tier Support for server, data networks, SQL databases, Information Protection, and Commercial Application Support assemble Subject Matter Experts as needed for more complex issues. Vendor Support Through our support agreements with Microsoft, Cisco, HP and other enterprise vendors, IBS has 24x7 access to the companies behind the technologies that deliver business solutions. All the resources are in place to make sure your consumer facing sites and content are available

  7. What is IBS Web Operations? IBS Web Operations Supports the Corporate Web Infrastructure Anheuser-Bush has three large web environments: Intranet – Hosts http://abweb and http://botweb Extranet – ENA Hosts www.budnet.com, www.budexchange.com, www.abrecycling.com, and www.metalcontainercorp.com Internet – ECHo Hosts 100+ sites and 300+ web applications, including www.anheuser-busch.com, www.budweiser.com, www.budlight.com, www.naturallight.com, www.abmarketing.com, www.abwholesaler.com and many others. Web Operations coordinates support with other IBS departments responsible for Servers, Data Networks, SQL Database, Information Protection and Commercial Application Support to ensure our systems are available and reliable.
