De Stijl Art • Using lines, rectangles and squares • Primary colors only • Have you seen something similar to these before?
What We Will Do • Make our own! • Each of you will get a rectangle cut out and a blank piece of paper • Using a black crayon/pencil crayon make outlines on your paper • They have to be parallel to the page • That means no diagonals!
What We Will Do • You should have traced it at least 10 times • They can go outside of the paper and overlap! • Only use primary colors (red, yellow and blue) • Color in all the rectangles and squares made • Leave the other areas white • Try your best to stay in the lines
