  5. Prepare your graphic organizer. Now fold your paper into 4 squares.

  6. Begin the graphic organizer. Unfold the paper and draw a box in the center. In the center box write “Persuasive Writing.”

  7. What is Persuasive Writing? We need to answer the question, “What is persuasion?” Persuasion: The art of convincing others to change their minds or to take a certain action.

Give reasons to support your position arguing in such a convincing manner that others will agree with you.
