  1. Water: How could we live without it?

  2. Water is a natural resource. It is important for the survival of all living organisms, as it is its main constituent, just think that the human body contains about 70% of this element. The importance of water, however, is not limited only to the proper functioning of our body; in fact it is also a key factor for man’s existence and, with its influences on the climate of the Earth, for its preservation too. With the increase in population, however, the demand for water is rising and as its availability is limited; for this reason it has been called the blue gold and, as with any precious resource, man must learn to ration this commodity and make the most of its supplies. • S. Maria diLeuca – the steps which bound the final stretch of the Apulian Aqueduct Apulian Aqueduct (1906–39), the largest in Italy, which supplies the region with water from the Sele River, in the bordering Campania region.

  3. The table above represents the quality of water which is supplied by our regional aqueduct inMolfetta and its surrounding towns, in other word the water which flows from our houses’ taps. Water is a fundamental element man’s life, in fact we cannot without it. Our society does not understand however the importance of water and for this reason increasing amounts of this precious element are wasted. It would be sufficient that we pay attention to small gestures to prevent waste, we should for example turn off the tap while brushing our teeth or wash our clothes only when the washing machine is really full up. • If you want to get more, click at http://wateruseitwisely.com/100-ways-to-conserve/
