Gén. 8:22; 2 Cor. 9:10. • The farmer puts his confidence in God and accepts the slow process of nature. Gen. 8:22; 2 Cor. 9:10.

Los impacientes son impacientes unos con otros. Luc. 12:45. • But stress and tension provoke negative attitudes even among brethren. The impatient are impatient with each other. Lk. 12:45.

Fil. 4:11; Heb. 13:5. • If we are patient with each other, we will not be ill-humored. We won’t have a sour or bitter spirit. Phil. 4:11; Heb. 13:5.

Tened paciencia hasta la venida del Señor Be patient until the coming of the Lord • 1 Ped. 4:19, “que los que padecen según la voluntad de Dios, encomienden sus almas al fiel Creador, y hagan el bien”. • 1 Pet. 4:19, “let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator.”

Hech. 7:52. • James 5:10, “My brethren, take the prophets, who spoke in the name of the Lord, as an example of suffering and patience.” Acts 7:52.

Tened paciencia hasta la venida del Señor Be patient until the coming of the Lord • Jeremías fue encarcelado por causa del mensaje de Dios, pero era muy paciente y seguía rogando al pueblo y orando por ellos. • Jeremiah was imprisoned because of the message from God, but he was very patient and continued pleading with the people and praying for them.

Esta es la paciencia de perseverar bajo pruebas por duras que sean(1:3). • James 5:11, “You have heard of the patience of Job” under severe trials. This is the patience of persevering under trials no matter how hard they are (1:3).

Tened paciencia hasta la venida del Señor Be patient until the coming of the Lord • Sufría horriblemente, sus “amigos” le acusaban de pecado, aun su esposa dijo, “Maldice a Dios y muérete”, pero triunfó sobre toda prueba. • He suffered horribly, his “friends” accused him of sin, even his wife said, “Curse God and die,” but he triumphed over every trial.

  41. Tened paciencia hasta la venida del Señor Be patient until the coming of the Lord • Lo que sufrió desgarró su corazón, pero no destruyó su fe en Dios. Por el contrario, sin duda alguna toda la desdicha que sufrió fortaleció su fe. • What he suffered tore his heart out, but did not destroy his faith in God. To the contrary, without doubt all the misery he suffered strengthened his faith.

El de Job, sí, pero el nuestro no… pero si tenemos la fe de Job con paciencia lo esperaremos. • It is difficult to see the “end.” That of Job, yes, but our own, no… but if we have the faith of Job, with patience we will wait for it.
