Buddha My Analysis of the Quote • I think what Buddha meant by this quote is that all people feel “happiness” and all people feel “sorrow.” He taught that all people suffer, yet there is relief from suffering, and that relief comes with following the Eight Fold Path. If you can master following the Eight Fold Path, and if you remember that all people suffer, but that suffering can stop, you will live a better life because you will be “untouched” and “unattached” to your suffering. You will recognize that things are always going to be okay.
