  15. Overall recommendations (1) • Teams / Participants: Look beyond area boundaries. Intensive information exchange. Decisions more responsive. • Secure the top regional harmonization and coordination (crisis communication / evacuation / assistance). • Crisis communication: needs clear roles and responsibilities between security region and province • More attention for mid-term and long-term. Scenario thinking.

  16. Overall recommendations(2) • Make more use of plots / maps (integrated imaging). Especially cross-regional. Layout the entire problem. • Make more use of systems such as HIS-viewer and FLIWAS. Also to support decision making. • Give more publicity to disaster management plans for dike rings. • Practice in accordance with local arrangements (legislation / plans). • Do not change the goals shortly before the exercise. • Ensure continuity of preparation. Appoint someone to give overview and direction.
