  2. Video Sales Agenda • Native and new endpoint registration CUCM • SIP TrunkingCUCM • Conference Video SE • Easy to use & deploy • URI dialing • Scripting – BAT • Queuing • Codec Preference • Call recording • Extend connect • Mobility • EMCC • Multiple Clients registering IM and Presence Services included Simple User Experience with voice, video, IM, and presence • Call Admission Control • Static as usual • Enhanced CAC Location • Inter clusters CAC • RSVP Licensing server “services collab” • Identity • Identity / Security • LDAP • UDS Platform Security OS Update Dialplan Featurettes

  4. SIP URIs identify communications resources (same alias name for Telephony, Video, IM, e-mail) General form: sip:user:password@host:port;uri-parameters?headers Native dialing method in SIP based video equipment Better integration with other call controls where URI dialing is the native dialing habit (e.g. VCS) How? DNis aliased by alpha URI In CUCM all endpoints will still have a DN Intercluster Lookup Service (ILS) What is it? Easy to use & deploySIP URI (bridget@eponge.com) 2000 (bob@eponge.com) 2001

  5. Easy to use & deploySIPURI EndpointSupport Only a subset of phones support URI dialing 99xx, 8961 phones (except transfer, conferencing, forwarding) Jabber for windows will support URI dialing with 9.0(2) Video Endpoints Directory Lookup based on enduser directory on UC Manager will always return number Dialing from Enterprise Directory based on UC Manager will always go to number not URI Endpoint using other data sources (e.g. LDAP) might dial alpha URI instead All phones can be called via an alpha URI (because URI is mapped to a DN)

  6. Easy to use & deployCisco Extend and Connect CUCM PSTN CTI Remote devices ring and can be answered, Disconnected, Hold/Retrieve, Transfer/Conference,Direct Transfer on Same Line and Join on Same Line, Redirect/Forward Enterprise DN: 3000 CTI Remote Device or CSF/Jabber device in Extend Mode Jabber or 3rd party CTI Client Office Phone 3000 Remote Destination 2: 9196661313 Remote Destination 1: +33148040000 3rd Party PABX (Alcatel, Aastra, Siemens, Avaya, ...) Home Phone +33148040000 User bob@eponge.com • What is Cisco Extend and Connect? • A new device type, CTI Remote Device that represents all remote destinations for a user. Anchors enterprise calls on the CTI Remote Device • Allows a CTI application (like Jabber) 3rd party control of the remote connection to enable enterprise call features PBX Phone 9196661212

  7. Easy to use & deployNative Call Queuing • Enables Hunt Pilot to queue callers • Allow for redirection of calls based on different queue criteria • Allow agents to participate in multiple queues • Auto logout and call re-queue if agent does not answer • Longest waiting call in all queues will be delivered first • No ‘post call’ time or agent greeting options • On phone ‘Queue Status’ display

  8. Call Admission ControlEnhanced Locations Based CAC • Locations Bases Call Admission Control Prior to CUCM 9.0 • -Supported only simple Hub and Spoke topologies • -Could not share CAC information with other CUCM or VCS • -Could not use SME to manage BW because media did not traverse SME • -Telepresence endpoints deployed in separate cluster from other video devices and CAC not used with TP endpoints

  9. Call Admission ControlEnhanced Locations Based CACMulti-call control clusters (CUCM, SME) • CUCM 9.0 enables the following features: • - Efficient bandwidth management for multiple clusters that share physical sites (BW deductions). • - Allow administrator to model complex topologies including multi hop WAN • - Introduce weighting attribute for redundant links to influence path selection • Configure independent bandwidth for voice, video, and immersive call

  10. SIP Line side Transparency and Normalization Support for sRTP point to point video with 99xx\896x phones Immersive video classification for Enhanced LCAC SNR/Wifi video support Mid call control Features for Video end points Alphanumeric Call Forward All Hold / Resume Ad hoc conferencing Music on Hold Enhanced Shared Lines Voicemail Message Waiting Indication CTI/remote-cc desktop control (TE6) CTI Monitoring of device availability Corporate Directory Personal Favorites / Speed dials One Button to Push VideoCUCM Video Updates

  14. IdentityLDAP and Manual User support • Prior to CUCM 9.0 • -Enabling LDAP sync would prohibit adding local users • -End user to be used by CUCM must be defined on AD and synched • -Extra users could trigger extra CAL’s on the MS AD • CUCM 9.0 • -Administrator can have both LDAP sync users and locally defined users • -Ability to modify local users and roles assigned to LDAP users • -Deleting LDAP synch will mark users synced for deletion (garbage collection) • -Administrator can convert an LDAP user to a local user

  15. IdentityNew UDS User Data Directories Service of CUCM We start to have more and more applications that need to consult the LDAP database in every task that they execute… That is tooheavy for the AD DC’s that aren’t designed for that kind of traffic …………and too even Heavy even for an LDAP System. Domain cisco.com Domain cisco.com Domain cisco.com Corporate AD or LDAP System Users Directory Frontend

  16. The direction for UDS is to allow dynamic discover of the home cluster for a specific user, and to get information from users directory information across different UDS CUCM clusters IdentityUser Base Cluster Discovery 2 - Query Discovery Service for User Home Cluster 1 – DNS SRV or static configuration to find CUCM cluster that provides UDS discovery service Americas.Cisco.com EMEAR.Cisco.com Cisco.com 4 - Home Cluster UDS URL returned in the response 3 - Cross Cluster Dicovery for User Discovery 5 - Query home cluster UDS for Device name and configuration

  17. IdentityService Discovery 7 - Jabber Register with Home Cluster Americas.Cisco.com EMEAR.Cisco.com Cisco.com 8 - Jabber connects to the Services 6 - Jabber downloads the config file from TFTPand gets the configured service list (UCM, UCNx, CUP, Conf., etc.

  18. IM / PresenceCUCM IM and Presence • Solution release 9.0, CUCM and CUP will start integration to be one product • Includes common release and upgrade process • Centralize administration • Simplify licensing, now included as part of CUCM user licensing • Deprecating IP Phone Messenger (IPPM) and CUPC 7.0

  19. Avec la participation de Bridget et Bob Merci!
