ACCREDITATIONS • All accreditation requests must be made via the online system “eAccreditation” at http://eaccreditation.un.int • Guidelines on how to submit requests online and a set of “Frequently Asked Questions” can be found on the Protocol website www.un.int/protocol • Missions/offices will now have the option to submit photographs of delegations along with their online accreditation requests. • All requests require at least 48 hours for processing. • VIP passes are issued by Protocol and may be collected at the Protocol Office. • VIP passes (without photo) will be issued to Heads of State/Government, Vice-Presidents, Crown Princes/Princesses and spouses. • VIP passes (with photo) will be issued to Deputy Prime Ministers, Cabinet Ministers and spouses.

  5. SECONDARY ACCESS PASSES • Bearing in mind space constraints as well as security considerations, passes will be made available as follows: • 22 April GeneralAssembly Hall • 6 access cards for each member state • Access to the 2nd Floor of the GA and Conference Buildings • 4 access cards for each member state • Access to the Trusteeship Council and ECOSOC Chambers • 2 access cards per chamber for each member state • Information on access cards for Inter-Governmental Organizations is currently pending decisions to be taken by the Climate Change Support Team. • The secondary access cards will be distributed by the Protocol and Liaison Service on Tuesday, 19 April 2016 between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm in room S-02MM. • Thereafter, access cards may be collected in the Protocol Office at Room S-0201 during office hours.

  6. VIP Seating Seating will be available for First Ladies, Spouses of the Heads of State/Government, Vice-Presidents, Crown Princes and Princesses provided that the Chief of Protocol is notified in advance of their attendance at the session.

  7. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Bilateral Booths will be in 3 locations: • 2 on the 4th balcony • 4 on the 3rd floor balcony • 2 on the 2nd floor balcony Reservations should be made through e-Meets by accessing https://icms.un.org Reservations will be the same as during the General Assembly: 20 minutes per meeting, 8 persons maximum.

  8. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Protocol will issue a Note Verbale containing detailed arrangements for the events of 22 April. The Note Verbale will be sent to all Missions and Offices, and will be available on the Protocol website (www.un.int/protocol). This presentation will also be on the Protocol website this afternoon.
