RGIT Australia's Orientation Day took place virtually on Monday, 30 June 2020. The orientation day for VET students commencing at RGIT Australia's Melbourne and Hobart Campuses in Term 3, 2020 took place virtually due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.

The orientation day for VET students commencing at RGIT Australia's Melbourne and Hobart Campuses in Term 3, 2020 took place virtually due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. The students had to log in to their LMS (Learning Management System) and complete the virtual orientation seminar module. The existing students used their existing LMS account while the new students that commenced this term were received an email from RGIT Australia's student services department with their login details. The next step was to click on the ‘Orientation – July 2020‘ course form the Dashboard. The students then were asked to download the Orientation PowerPoint slides. Once the download is completed and the students have gone through the slides they had to given their acknowledgement by ticking the "I agree" tab. The important forms to be completed included Student Enrolment Form Student Induction Checklist (International) Once these were completed, the students were asked to send them to the student services at adminteam@rgit.edu.au. The RGIT Australia International Student Handbook 2020 covered all the information in the orientation and even the additional information on all aspects of RGIT Australia and living and studying in Australia in general. The students would receive the link to join the online training from their trainers. RGIT Australia continues to work with the Australian and Victorian authorities to maintain a safe environment to limit the spread of this deadly virus. RGIT Australia continues to act and take measures on the advice from the authorities to maintain a safe and healthy environment for staff, students and visitors to our campuses.
