  2. Nuclear Fusion Journal is a worldwide Journal of highest standard with large contribution from FEC. 2. NF Journal recorded highest impact factor of 3.42 in 2205 with great efforts by the Editor C. Schuller and NF office. 3. In 2005 BoE, proposal of NF prize to acknowledge and encourage distinguished paper, annually. 4. NF prize is “Paper Prize”. Acknowledge IAEA award given by the name of DG M. ElBaradei. 5. Select one paper among papers published in one year.

  3. 6. Nomination is based on citations in two years after publication and recommendation from BoE members 7. BoE analyze self-citation and non self-citation favoring non-self citation. 8. Exclude Overview Papers due to its nature. 9. This award is also intended to encourage young scientists to submit excellent papers, but BoE decided there should not be any age limit. Age will be considered only at Tie-Break.

  4. 10. Ten candidate papers are nominated among 2003 publication. 11. After several confidential votings, we came up to the decision of FIRST Nuclear Fusion Prize
