  3. General Transfer Courses • Additional review process involving representatives from 4-year programs • Mandatory transfer of approved courses to any public institution of higher learning in state • Originally only “core” courses • Now, if not GT, most courses > 2 credits do not get sufficient enrollment to be viable

  4. Articulation Agreements with Individual Schools • Especially important if their courses have non-traditional prefixes/names (i.e. no clear “equivalent”) • e.g. Colorado School of Mines • Earth and Environmental Systems (SYGN) • Benefits both schools by making transfer process easier & boosting enrollments • Helps students by clarifying requirements & reducing hassles
