The University of North Carolina Environmental Finance Center (UNC EFC) is dedicated to enhancing the ability of governments and organizations to provide environmental programs and services in fair, effective, and financially sustainable ways. They offer finance, management, governance, and policy expertise and work on topics such as drinking water, wastewater, solid waste, recycling, sustainable energy, watershed finance, and more. The UNC EFC collaborates with various partners and is funded by organizations like the US Environmental Protection Agency, US Department of Energy, state agencies, and foundations.
