  1. Heart Attack Symptoms: Chest Pain or Discomfort: Often described as a tightness, pressure, squeezing, or pain in the chest. The sensation may spread to the arms, neck, jaw, back, or stomach. Shortness of Breath: Feeling breathless or having difficulty breathing, even with mild physical activity or at rest. Cold Sweats: Sudden, unexplained sweating, often accompanied by other symptoms. Nausea and Vomiting: Feeling nauseous, possibly followed by vomiting. Lightheadedness or Dizziness: Feeling dizzy, lightheaded, or faint. Risk Factors: Smoking: Tobacco use damages blood vessels and increases the risk of plaque buildup. High Blood Pressure: Uncontrolled hypertension strains the heart and arteries. High Cholesterol: Elevated levels of LDL ("bad") cholesterol contribute to plaque formation. Diabetes: Increases the risk of blood vessel damage. Obesity: Excess weight puts strain on the heart and worsens other risk factors. Gender: Men are generally at higher risk, but women's risk increases after menopause.
