  1. A brief guide for Replacing Cartridges in the HP® Deskjet® 2655 Printer

  2. HP DeskJet 2655 is a brand-new HP 65 black and tri-color set-up cartridge. The HP 65 cartridge series is available in regular output size and high output, or XL size that provides more ink, and you would need to have both cartridges mounted in your printer to make it work properly. • If you get poor print results, the first thing you want to do is check the ink levels on your printer display. The color cartridge ink levels are on the left side of the screen, and the black cartridge levels are on the right. If one of the cartridge levels is low, like black, it's time to replace it!

  3. We advise a new cartridge over a trashcan because sometimes a little bit of ink can escape. Don't forget to remove the orange tape from the top of the cartridge. • Gently pull the tape to remove it, and this will expose the vent hole on the cartridge so that it can work properly in your machine. • When handling the new cartridge, avoid touching the gold contact chip. This chip is very sensitive and may not be read properly if the residue or the fingerprint oil reaches those points of contact. • Now that the cartridge is ready, you're ready to install it!

  4. Install a new cartridge • Getting the printer part where you replace the cartridges is a bit tricky. First, you'll need to open the machine's front cover, which looks like where the cartridges should be at first glance. In fact, this is the paper tray. The cartridges are placed directly behind the second door of the paper tray. • After you've opened the second door, wait for the cartridges to be focused. The black cartridge is on the right, and the tri-color cartridge on the left.

  5. To eject the cartridge, gently pull it towards your body before it falls out of the computer. We advise to keep the cartridge as though you were holding a playing card with my thumb at the top and pointer finger at the bottom of the cartridge. Use other hand to help the printer, so it wouldn't move on me when I removed the cartridge.

  6. To insert the new cartridge, make sure it's lined up with the cart and slide it into the slot. • Close the door to the cartridge. Within a few seconds, you should note that the levels of black ink on the printer monitor are once again complete, and you're ready to print! • Replacement ink cartridges for the Deskjet 2655 series can be costly, particularly if you're working on a budget. A package of original HP ink cartridges costs almost as much as a printer, and at that pace, buying a new printer every time you need to replace your ink will not be far away.

  7. there are cost-saving options available that are both efficient and environmentally friendly. • Consider buying HP 65XL compatible LD brand cartridges. They are packed to the same capacity as the HP brand and are backed by the industry's best lifetime warranty. We offer a budget-friendly deal for you in LD brand cartilage.
