  1. 3 Secrets to Supercharge Your Internet Marketing Business Instantly! So let me explain why internet marketing is so powerful. Conventional advertising, such as leaflets or adverts in local papers, relies on someone seeing your advert who happens to want what you are offering. Either that or they are so convinced by your advert that they are willing to give it a try (this is very rare). With internet marketing, you are only targeting the people who are already actively searching for what you are offering. For example when I set up my internet marketing campaign I targeted people who were typing in phrases like "London acupuncture" and "acupuncture for back pain" into Google. These are all people who are already looking for what I'm offering. They're looking for me, instead of me going out and chasing them. Doesn't that make things a lot easier? Now obviously I still need to convince people they should come to me, rather than another acupuncturist, but there are some sure fire ways of convincing enough of these people to do just that. One of them is to take the risk element out of the equation. I will discuss this in another article. So hopefully you get an idea of why getting good at internet marketing is extremely important. Now the first step you need to take is find your target market. That is, you need to find the actual search terms people are already using to look for your services on the internet. That's where the Google "keyword tool" I mentioned earlier comes in. You can access this tool by clicking here. Make sure results are tailored to your country and language, and type in words or phrases that describe your business. The more different possible ways people might be searching for you the better, e.g. massage therapy, massage therapist, remedial massage, etc. The keyword tool will tell you how many people are searching on these and any related terms each month. You can also use location-specific keywords such as "massage Chicago", as people will often use location keywords in a search. Don't worry if your location does not come up, as there are other ways you can find out how many people in your area are typing in keywords related to your service. I will go into this in a later article.
