  8. God’s Plan for Redemption Begins with a Choice

  9. Habakkuk 1:12-17; 21I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what he will say to me, and what answer I am to give to this complaint.

  10. Then the LORD replied:    “Write down the revelation and make it plain on tabletsso that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false.Though it linger, wait for it;

  11. it will certainly come and will not delay.“See, the enemy is puffed up; his desires are not upright—but the righteous person will live by his faithfulness.”

  12. vs. 1 - Habakkuk is waiting for a response

  13. vs. 2 “a vision for the appointed time... pants toward the end.”

  15. vs. 4 - how to live “in the meantime”

  16. It all comes down to verse 4 - the key to Habakkuk

  23. “Faithfulness” placing your whole life in God’s hands despite: guilt, sin, circumstances, trials, tribulations...

  24. God takes human activity and human decisions very seriously.

  25. We do not delay redemption, but we can hasten it.

  26. We can also miss it when it’s happening...

  27. Or miss out on it altogether...

  28. We can decide whether we will live under blessings or cursings...whether we choose life or death.

  29. God’s Plan For Redemption Begins With A Choice
