  3. RABS MODULE • Usually located inside vehicle. • Senses wheel speed other inputs • Controls RABS valve and warning light • Performs self-diagnostics • Single Channel

  4. WHEEL SPEED SENSOR • Located in Rear Axle • Provides signal in form of AC Voltage • Direct input to Module • Excitor Ring and Sensor Pole Piece LAB PAGE 159 CLASS PAGE 163

  5. WHEEL SENSOR • Voltage Generator • Air Gap (.050) • Magnetic Field around the coil • Exciter Ring interrupts the magnetic field • Sensor Test Conn.

  6. RABS VALVE Page 191C • Two Solenoid Unit to open or close hydraulic circuits • Inlet/Isolation Valve • Outlet/Dump Valve • Built in accumulator

  9. DIODE/RESISTOR • Located in main harness under dash • Isolates RAB module from parking brake switch
