  4. Feeding Spiders are predacious fluid feeders Most feed on insects Different spiders chase, amush or trap prey in silk

  5. Silk Production Silk glands located in the abdomen 2 or 3 pairs of spinners Thread is stronger then silk Silk may be used for: webs line nets sperm webs or egg sacs wrap prey throw nets

  6. Reproduction Male pedipalps deliver sperm to the female genitals Cocoon contains hundreds of eggs On average it takes two weeks for eggs to hatch Babies remain for another three weeks developing
