Art for a Cause: Supporting Homeless Families in Kosova

This project aims to raise awareness and funds for homeless and poor families in Kosova through photography and video exhibitions as well as a charity concert organized by high school students. The target group includes high school students who will showcase their artistic talents while supporting a noble cause. The project relies on volunteer efforts and fundraising activities to help those in need and empower young artists.

  1. we often see what we like to see… WE MUST NOT FORGET THIS BRUTAL REALITY!!!!!!! …but, unfortunately this is not the only substance that creates this home World… WE MUST AND WE WILL ACT! …Mountains, seas, natural wonders… SEEYLI 2005 – KOSOVA group …there is poverty, famine, war…

  2. Objectives • The awareness of citizens about homeless and poor families in villages of Kosova and the raising of funds for helping these poor and homeless families. • The opportunity of young people to express their artistic work.

  3. Activities The opening of the four exhibitions of photography and short-video recordings in four biggest cities of Kosova: • Mitrovice • Peje • Gjakove • Prishtine ( The biggest exhibition including the exhibitions held in other three cities) -Charity Concert.

  4. Target Group – from Who? Target group of this project includes all high school students, from all over Kosova. - They will be the authors and the crucial part of this project. - They will be the courage and the wish to help the poor people!

  5. Target Group – for Who? This project is combined… - It is FOR the poor people around our country, no matter of age - It is FOR the high school students, to discover their art-talents, whether it be on steady photos, video-clips, or digital pictures…

  6. Target Group – by Who? This is not all… - The students will be just the courage, but the whole country (citizens) is the main source of funds, that are to be planned for the poor.

  7. Budget We will depend for this project on the charity work of the volunteers from high schools, but our budget will have to be filled by mainly two ways: • Charity Concert organized within the boundaries of this project, and • Local /private/ companies or organizations (e.g. SOROS foundation)
