  14. SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT OF WWW.HRDP.IDRM.IN • Web platform can be used to share the case studies of reported disasters (even world wide). This will be a useful learning tool. • This web platform can be developed for e-learning on disaster management related topics. Even e-courses can also be offered to various related organizations. • Existing data or document collection can be more enhanced and a second level support can be developed to provide counseling on applicable regulations.

SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT OF WWW.HRDP.IDRM.IN • Some OISD Standards are part of Acts like OISD 144, 169, 150, 210 and 212 for Gas cylinder rules. • And, OISD 116, 117, 118, 156 and 105 for Petroleum Act & rules. • List of OISD standards may be updated and web address of OISD may be provided accordingly. • Standards developed by PNGRB may also be included.

  16. SUGGESTIONS • DMI / parterns of idrm may consider to organize open programs in Northern India in collaboration with GAIL. • Programs can be jointly organized at GAIL’s Training Institute. • Mutual exchange of faculties for such programs can also be considered.
