  7. DNR Pay Practices • Collective Bargaining Agreements • Closed Satellite Camps – need CTR documentation • Pay period – 15th and last day of month • Hours – straight time begins again after rest period

  8. DNR Practices • Driving – 10 hours per person, 16 total • R&R - preferred between 10-14, but can be taken after incident. • Extensions - must be signed by employee, needs to document R&R day

  9. DNR Practices • Out of State Assignments – do not re-assign out of state without permission • Laundry - entitled to laundry after 5 days • Fire Camp - all DNR employees are allowed to leave during off-duty hours

  10. DNR Practices • Cost Apportionment– DNR uses Cost Module report to settle fires • Claims - DNR uses tort claims, cannot settle at incident • Injuries- must use WA Labor & Industries claim form plus DNR’s initial incident report
