  1. Why Do Kids Underperform in Math? Math may be one of the core subjects taught in all schools. That said, not all students will thrive and do well in it. Some may struggle at some point because of certain topics, which they may not be able to effectively understand with just one single session in school. It is also common for certain students to underperform in math when they lack the right Maharashtra state board books to support their study and learning. Below is an in-depth look at the reasons why kids are likely to do poorly in math:  Students are unable to connect with the subject – Kids may fail math because they are unable to build a link between the subject and themselves. They may be uninterested because they find the subject boring, or they might not like something about the teacher or the educator’s teaching style.  Teaching methodology – Teachers must make sure that they are teaching the subject effectively in a way that kids of a particular age or grade will be able to understand. Moreover, they must ensure that they have the right learning materials for them. When combined with engaging, fun, and vibrant teaching methodologies, Maharashtra state board books may be able to keep the interest of young learners in math and encourage them to pay attention.  Attitude – A child’s attitude and behaviour can influence their interest and performance in a particular subject, such as math. For instance, if they failed math and developed a fear of it, their ability, performance, and skills in the subject may be negatively affected. It is the teacher’s role to help children develop a positive attitude towards the subject and be as encouraging as possible.  Wrong learning materials – Schools using the wrong textbooks and learning materials could make learning math more challenging for kids. It is important for teachers to use approved and high-quality Maharashtra state board books to guide students more effectively. Ideally, learning materials should give a lot of examples, exercises, and explanations to help students understand topics more efficiently and easily.  Confusion – Lengthy equations and some lessons may cause some young learners to be confused, especially in a fast-paced class. If they cannot catch up, they could have difficulty in finding the right answer, and they could lose focus in class.
