  8. KDDI Portfolio • Anti-piracy • Automatic content discrimination • Automatic content filtering & recognition • Automated quality verification • MPEG2 - H.264 trans-coder • H.264 encoder • 4K H.264 encoder • H.264 watermarking • Interactive TV applications • Free viewpoint with selectable POV • Vista Finder content transmission & management

  9. KDDI Application Descriptions • Anti-piracy comes as several tools with variable application • Automatically distinguish between professional & amateur content by looking at both production & technical elements (editing, steadiness, screen area, color depth, frame rate, etc.) • Automatic content filtering & recognition utilizes a sophisticated learning engine capable of both selecting and rejecting elements as desirable or un-desirable. • Automated quality verification • Ensures encoding meets a specific selectable standard of quality using a numeric grading scale to gauge video content • MPEG2 - H.264 trans-coder • Broadcast quality transcoding to convert libraries to latest high quality format for transmission

  10. KDDI Application Descriptions • H.264 encoder • Prepares raw video for transmission or archiving in high quality format, encoder compatible with Automatic quality verification engine to insure to new content meets standards • 4K H.264 encoder • Highest quality encodes for digital cinema and other critical encoding applications • H.264 watermarking • Protects and identifies aiding in source tracking content • Free viewpoint with selectable POV • Uses multiple camera angles to create user selectable viewing angle anywhere in the image area, joystick controllable, exciting sports application potential • Vista Finder content transmission & management • Takes video content directly into PC and transmits lossless image over cellular phone or satellite with very low bandwidth requirement - includes send and receive packages
