What does the NDR SC do, again? • Charter: • “Recommend to the TC rules and guidelines for normative-form schema design, instance design, and markup naming, and write and maintain documentation of these rules and guidelines” • We now have more kinds of outputs • Position papers for internal idea exploration • “Focus papers” for ideas that are ready for external review • NDR document as the main vehicle for conveying the rules • Separate rules documents (so far only the code list rules) • Our “current documents” archive shows the latest documents that are ready for external consumption

Work done since F2F #4 • Continuous NDR document improvements • 0pt65 draft review (for proper rule application and XML anomalies) • Code lists (draft doc out; seeking testers) • Embedded documentation (just need to write it up) • Dates and times (may need to undo since CCTS 1.85) • Containership (with LC SC; finish this week) • Nested supplementary components (CCTS 1.85 should provide a new path)

On the docket for F2F #5 • A Local unqualified vs. local qualified vs. globalA Code lists (input from reviewers)A CCT module work (incl. date/time, nested suppl. components, CCTS 1.85 updates) A Containership (finish with LC SC)    B Content referencing strategies   B Naming rules wrt CCTS V1.85    C Facet outreach (with LC SC)   C Modnamver (schemaLocation status)   C Embedded documentation (finish up)   C ASN.1 schema    C Updating guiding principles    C Wildcards    C Nillability    C Instance constraints

  6. And also… • Ensure that the NDR document completely incorporates previous decisions • and that the doc indicates open issues • and that comments received to date have been disposed of • So that it can contribute to the consolidated UBL deliverable
