  2. Have we found all the large animals living in the world? • Probably not. Gorillas and Okapis were only discovered in the later part of the 1900’s. • In the last decade, some new creatures have surfaced in Southeast Asia. • Encounters with hairy ape-like creatures like the Yeti, Sasquatch, or Bigfoot have been reported for many years. • Eyewitness sightings have even been reported here in New Mexico.

New Mexico Sightings are recorded by The Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization • Most Recent Reports: • October 2006, Taos County- Possible vocalizations, wood knocking heard by hunters in Gallegos peak area. • November 2005, McKinley County-Man observes creature walking across road. • October 2005, San Juan County-Zoologist hears wood knocking.
