  1. “Helping children reach their full potential”

  2. Hope for Children Hope for Children (HOPE) exists to help orphaned, poor, exploited and other marginalised children in developing countries and in the UK. We actively identify disadvantaged children and communities by working with local partners. Through empowering, collaborating and learning together we aim to build a sustainable future for the children and communities we serve. Our focus is to reach as many children as we can and deliver to them the childhood every child deserves. We strive to work towards a world where children’s rights are realised and they can reach their full potential.

  3. What makes HOPE different?

  4. We won’t stop until the job is done Our work is ongoing, you will not find us just coming into a community and building new infrastructure and then leaving the community to themselves.  Our staff in the field ensure that we work sustainably within all the communities we work in. HOPE’s work with partners is a commitment to bringing change to the lives of children.  It’s about being spontaneous and reactive, but also planning a journey of intervention which sometimes can last over many years working closely with and for the communities we serve Simon Jackman, Chief Executive, Hope for Children

  5. We make the most of your donation Founded as a voluntary based organisation with only a small but dedicated team of employees, we always go to extraordinary lengths to keep running costs down and maximise every pound donated. We believe that even the smallest donations can have a big impact and should therefore go directly to the children we help. This is why we do everything in our power to keep administrative costs down Dr Bob Parsons, Founder, Hope for Children

  6. We are open and transparent We like to connect our donors with the projects that they support, taking them on a journey which not only enriches their perspectives, but also enables them to see the difference they are making to children’s lives. I support Hope for Children because I know that the money I donate is helping children in both the Philippines and Uganda receive an education through their Walk to School Programme. They are honest, open and transparent about where they spend my donations. Chris Hughes, Founder, Brand Events Ltd

  7. We work better together It is important for us that the whole community has a role to play in enriching children’s lives. For this reason we are very active in collaborating with local partners to implement our work. By joining our efforts with local initiatives, and by sharing knowledge and learning, we know we do make a real and lasting difference. HOPE is a partner that wants to develop partnerships beyond projects. It is interested in our sustainability. It has contributed to the growth and relevance of my organisation and recognised our independence as an organisation Paul Alitia, Founder, Peace for Children Africa

  8. We make a positive difference We pride ourselves on the difference we are making to thousands of children’s lives. Each day we know that the money from our donors really is helping to empower and equip children and their communities to make real and lasting change. HOPE has really made a huge contribution to our community. They have cleared rubbish, built a new drainage system, educated the women of the slum and provided children with a place at school. We trust Immaculate Kiiza and her team because they walk amongst us, and always treat us with respect Peter Odong, Community Leader, Namuwongo, Uganda
