Costume Design • Costume Plot- List of every character and costume for each scene • Costume Rendering- head to toe drawing of a character that is labeled with all the costume pieces • Acquisitions list- Each costume piece you decide to :Buy, Pull, Rent, Borrow or Build?
Set Design • Set Plot/Ground Plan- bird’s eye stage view with where the set pieces go and what they are • Elevation sketch/Set Rendering- drawing of what the audience sees • Model- 3D mini set to show the crew how the set should look after build
Lighting Design • Light Plot- like a ground plan but with lighting instruments • Cue Sheet- List of lighting cues for every scene in a play; tells what lights will be on and when that happens
Sound Design • Microphones for actors? Live sound? Recorded sound? • Cue Sheet- List of sound cues and when in the play they are played, for how long, and the volume level
Props- Props Master • Decorative Props/Set dressing, Hand Props • Decide- Buy, Build, Pull, Borrow, Rent? • Prop Table- Each prop is labeled and split up into sections
Make-up • Straight Make-up or Character Make-up? Any special effects? • Make-up Morgue- book of researched pictures to help with the design • Make-up Rendering- Blank Face that you color and label with location of make-up and type
