Workshop on Adolescence Issues & Anger ManagementWorld Mental Health Week Organising Institution – National Science Centre A workshop and quiz was conducted on Adolescent Issues and Anger Management for the students of Class IX & X in National Science Centre as a part of World Mental Health Week. 8 students from the school along with Ms NainaNagpal attended a workshop under Peer Educators in collaboration with Expressions India on General Health and Adolescent issues on 4 October 2012 (Thursday)followed by the Adolescence Whiz Quiz. In continuation of the World Mental Health Week, 37 students attended a workshop on Anger Management along with Ms YogitaKathuria on 5 October 2012 (Friday). The resource persons Ms Manjula Mary and Ms Anita Sharma talked about the actual meaning of anger as an emotional outburst. They also emphasized on rationalizing the thought process, positive thinking , lighten the burden Impact of destructive anger were very well explained to them with the help of real life examples. The experts enlightened and gave certain remedies to overcome this problem at school level. The students gained a lot and were benefitted by the ideas presented in the workshop.
